Naming the Unknown, Between the Unexpected and the Otherness. Brief Reflections on Beauty, Art and Nature
This philosophical exploration submerges into the intertwined concepts of beauty, art, and nature, revealing their interconnectedness through the shared quality of openness. Beauty is portrayed as an elusive and subjective experience, resistant to definition, yet undeniably powerful in its ability to disrupt ordinary perceptions and provoke profound insights. Art, in this context, is seen as a medium through which the unexpected, or the sacred reveal themselves as an epiphany, testing conventional thought and conjuring up a timeless passion. Nature, similarly enigmatic, stands as a force beyond human comprehension, embodying otherness and finitude. It resists the constraints of scientific traditional categorization and intellectual understanding, existing as a reminder of the transient and fragile nature of all existence.
