Evaluation of Heavy Menstrual Bleeding in Adolescents
Primary care providers should understand normal menstrual cycle patterns and thus be adept at identifying HMB. Early recognition of the underlying etiology in adolescents facilitates timely diagnosis, helping to prevent severe anemia and potential hospitalization.
