Long‐Lasting Simultaneous Epidermal and Dermal Microneedle‐Enabled Drug Delivery (Adv. Mater. Technol. 4/2025)

Microneedle-Enabled Drug Delivery In article number 2400980, Metin Sitti, Savas Tasoglu, and co-workers show that microneedles, well-known for their advantageous drug delivery features, can be engineered into nonlinear designs facilitating simultaneous drug delivery to multiple skin layers or a release mechanism in a long lasting manner. The advanced technology of nonlinear microneedles is helpful for treatment of diseases that manifest at varying depths of skin.

Abstract

Microneedle-Enabled Drug Delivery In article number 2400980, Metin Sitti, Savas Tasoglu, and co-workers show that microneedles, well-known for their advantageous drug delivery features, can be engineered into nonlinear designs facilitating simultaneous drug delivery to multiple skin layers or a release mechanism in a long lasting manner. The advanced technology of nonlinear microneedles is helpful for treatment of diseases that manifest at varying depths of skin.
