PROSOPOGRAPHICAL METHOD IN STUDYING SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE VILLAGE KURSK PROVINCE IN THE FIRST QUARTER OF THE 20TH CENTURY (ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE VILLAGE OF FENTISOVO SHCHIGROVSKY DISTRICT OF KURSK PROVINCE)

Currently, research is being conducted in the field of local history that addresses a wide range of issues related to the history of peasantry. The aim of this research is not to produce fundamental historical works, but rather to gradually reconstruct the history of their native village. Our article falls into this category of research. It represents an attempt to reconstruct the socio-economic history of Fentisovo village, Shchigrovsky district, Kursk province, using new methods of historical research - prosopography. As a result, we were able to create a collective portrait of the villagers and conduct a comparative analysis.
