Integrating Blockchain, Industry 4.0 and Emerging Technologies in the Logistics of Circular Economy: Theoretical Framework

A systematic literature review was conducted using the Scopus database to analyze logistics in the circular economy, focusing on areas such as blockchain, industry 4.0, and emerging technologies based on 116 research publications. It provides a detailed review of the impact of the circular economy on logistical operations and sustainability, through content and bibliographic analysis. The research identifies important trends, gaps, and key success factors across environmental, economic, social, security, and administrative domains. These factors will help create a framework for testing technology applications in circular economy logistics in organizations like GE HealthCare, Hologic, Philips, and Siemens, offering valuable insights for both academia and industry.
