Integrating Guillain-Barré Syndrome Awareness with Sustainable Islamic Business and Finance: A Path Towards Enhanced Health and Well-being
Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) is an uncommon and a potentially lethal autoimmune ailment in which the immune system assaults peripheral nerves, causing signs generally including weakness and respiratory failing. This study investigates the relationships between demographic characteristics of age, education, gender, prior knowledge and personal experience to awareness of Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) with the emphasis on 8 hypotheses related to these characteristics. The study both emphasizes the need to include Islamic principles in educational endeavors and the contribution of the financial institutions to community health programs. These results are consistent with Sustainable Development Goal 3, which seeks additional health education and awareness to improve outcomes for people with GBS.
