Prototype Approach Light Monitoring System Using Web-based LoRa Communication
The slanted light system or commonly referred to asApproach Lighting System (ALS) is a lighting system installed at the end of a runway at an airport and consisting of a series of rows of lights, strobes, or combinations thereof that extend off the runway. This system is usually found on runways that have an instrument approach procedure (IAP) associated with them that allows the pilot to visually identify the runway environment and align the aircraft with the runway upon arrival at a designated place at the approach point. With the development of technology and information, it has become a necessity for society and industry. One of the implementations is to create an IOT based approach light monitoring system to monitor each approach light lamp so as to speed up the time for repair and maintenance of equipment for airport technicians. In order for work to run effectively, one way is to use the web as a monitoring tool to speed up coordination time while in the field. In designing a monitoring system prototypeApproach Light IoT based,This system uses sensors to collect data about light conditions, and sends that data to a server via a LoRa network. The data received by the server will be processed and processed to provide the information needed to monitor conditions Approach Light.
