Implementation of 23 Level Asymmetrical Inverter for Motor Driver Applications
Presently Inverters are crucial for satisfying the growing electrical requirements in developing nations. Several countries are increasingly adopting alternative energy sources, such as solar and wind power, in response to the growing energy needs. India, a developing nation, provides financial aid to individuals for the installation of solar power systems in their homes. This provides us with more opportunities to develop innovative inverter layouts and approaches. This study introduces a single-phase 23-level asymmetrical inverter that is achieved by combining a 13-level inverter design in a cascading manner. This study provides a comprehensive examination of the structure and configuration of the topology, with the objective of minimizing Total Harmonic Distortion (THD). A 23-level inverter is implemented to handle both resistive and resistive-inductive loads. An analysis has been conducted to evaluate the feasibility of the simulation and hardware model findings.
