ST-Segment Depression in aVR
ST-segment depression in aVR lead has received limited attention despite being associated with ischemic and nonischemic conditions. A 42-year-old man developed an anterior ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction owing to subocclusion of the left anterior descending artery. His electrocardiogram was notable for ST-segment elevation in leads DI, aVL, and V1 to V6, and ST-segment depression in aVR. ST-segment depression in aVR is not a frequently reported finding that suggests nonischemic as well as ischemic clinical presentations.
