A close-range powder sample detection method based on UV Raman-fluorescence combined spectroscopy
Raman spectroscopy is widely used in many fields because of its advantages of simultaneous detection of multiple components, no need for sample preparation, and molecular fingerprinting characteristics, etc. However, traditional Raman spectroscopy technology still has some problems in on-site online powder detection, such as low sensitivity and single detection information. To address this problem, research on close-range powder detection method based on UV Raman-Fluorescence spectroscopy was carried out in this paper. Aiming at the problem of reduced signal collection efficiency caused by changes in sample detection distance, the displacement platform is used to assist spectral signal collection, realizing focused detection at different distances and effectively improving signal collection efficiency. In order to further verify the effectiveness of the method, an experimental setup was built and some experiments were carried out. The experimental results show that this method can meet the detection needs of powder samples at a distance of 1-2m. Simulating the actual application scenarios, the experimental setup was used to detect three typical powders of baking soda, 1,2,4,5-tetramethylbenzene and amino acid with the content of about 4 mg/cm2 on four different substrates (aluminium metal, cloth, paper and plastic) at 1.5 m. The above experimental results verify that this method can meet the needs of close-range trace powder sample detection.
