Evolution of the propagation characteristics of vortex beam in plasma sheath turbulence
This paper develops a numerical model for the Propagation of vortex beams through plasma sheath turbulence (PST). The extended Huygens-Fresnel principle and the anisotropic power spectrum of refractive index fluctuations within PST are utilized to simulate the beam propagation. The effects of outer scale, anisotropic index, and electron density fluctuations on the average intensity and Power-in-the-Bucket (PIB) are investigated. The simulation results reveal that larger electron density fluctuations, smaller anisotropic indices, and reduced outer scales lead to stronger turbulence, resulting in greater attenuation of the average intensity and lower PIB values.
