Design of polarization-maintaining photonic lantern

We design a polarization-maintaining photonic lantern with the stress region placed in the casing, a method that has not been previously researched, and simulation results show that the refractive index difference in both the x and y directions is more than 10^(-4), and the crosstalk between x and y directions exceeds -20 dB, demonstrating good polarization-maintaining performance.

Abstract

We design a polarization-maintaining photonic lantern with the stress region placed in the casing, a method that has not been previously researched, and simulation results show that the refractive index difference in both the x and y directions is more than 10^(-4), and the crosstalk between x and y directions exceeds -20 dB, demonstrating good polarization-maintaining performance.
