Design and analysis of solar blind ultraviolet water vapor Raman lidar spectroscopy system
A spectroscopic filter system for solar blind ultraviolet water vapor Raman lidar, based on a hyperspectral grating, is designed and built. The system separates the vibrational Raman scattering signals of N2 and H2O at central wavelengths of 283.6nm and 294.6nm efficiently and precisely, using the fourth harmonic output 266.0nm of the Nd: YAG pulsed laser as the excitation wavelength. The performance analysis of the grating spectroscopic filter shows that it has the rejection ratio to elastic scattering signal more than 5 orders of magnitude. The ZEMAX simulation and experimental data demonstrate that the spectroscopic system can realize high-efficiency extraction of weak solar-blind ultraviolet vibration Raman scattering signals with narrow spectral intervals, which verify the feasibility and reliability of the grating spectroscopic system.
