Research on design and application technology of multi-core fiber
Multi-core fiber has attracted much attention due to its strong applicability in long-distance transmission systems. We have collaborated to lay a 17.6-kilometer-long multi-core fiber optic network in Jinan, conducting full industry chain technology verification of multi-core fiber optic and demonstrating the enormous potential of multi-core optical cables in achieving integrated sensing systems. The network pilot of multi-core fiber optic cables has played a demonstration role in engineering application and promotion.
