Study on field distribution of nano-silver sphere array structure
Light scattering by nanostructures and nanoparticles is one of the emerging fields in nanoscience. It has important application prospects in several areas of biology and medicine such as cancer treatment, Nano-biosensors, etc., as well as in other technologies such as efficient solar cells, high-resolution microscopes and optical communications. The performance of these devices and technologies can be improved by adjusting the optical properties of nanostructures or nanoparticles. We constructed a single-layer silver Nano-sphere array structure with rectangular periodic arrangement. Using simulation software, we analyzed and discussed the scattering of normal incident plane waves by the silver sphere array structure, and obtained the relationship between the scattering field distribution and the radius and period of the silver sphere. The results show that the excitation of electromagnetic resonance can be changed and the intensity of scattering field can be enhanced by adjusting the radius and period of the silver sphere.
