In episode 11 of Communicable, Angela Huttner and Thomas Tängdén return to the Nightmare Series for part 2 covering carbapenemase-producing organisms. They are joined by two AMR stewards and ID physicians from regions where carbapenemase producers are widespread: David Paterson of the National University of Singapore and Director of ADVANCE-ID—a clinical trials network comprising more than 40 hospitals across Asia—and Souha Kanj, Head of the Infectious Diseases Division and Chair of the Infection Control and Prevention Program at the American University of Beirut, Lebanon.
