Research on quantum security in public network push-to-talk over cellular systems
Push-to-talk over cellular (PoC) is a multicast half-duplex type of communication. However, modern cryptography faces potential threats posed by quantum computers. The objective of this study is to construct a secure communication platform for key exchange through quantum cryptography scheme. The Secure Sockets Layer Virtual Private Network (SSL VPN) is employed in quantum key distribution (QKD) to guarantee the secure communication across quantum channels. The obtained results may guide companies and organizations to achieve a best compromise between security and efficiency in the selection of an optimal QKD system.
