A Homomorphic (n,n) Grayscale Visual Cryptography Scheme

With the rapid advancement of big data technology, the importance of image privacy protection has become increasingly prominent, leading to a growing demand for applications capable of processing encrypted images. Visual cryptography scheme, with the advantage of low computational complexity, has emerged as promising solutions to meet this demand. However, traditional grayscale image encryption schemes exhibit certain limitations, such as information loss and poor recovery quality, which impede the ability to effectively process encrypted images. This paper proposes a homomorphic \(( {n,n} )\) grayscale visual cryptography encryption scheme aimed at achieving lossless recovery of grayscale images. Theoretical analysis demonstrates the security of the proposed scheme, while experimental results and analysis further validate its effectiveness.
