Professional observations of the suitability of „disposition of heating element“ in a residential space, heated by a central water heating system
Permanent true commitment to profession and science in the field of „applied thermotechnics in construction“, verified, confirmed, corrected and/or improved for several decades, equally in theory and practice, caused the next continuation of the research endeavour of the same author, in the capacity of „active professional causality analyst“, and in the domain of „central water heating system“, as the most represented special-purpose system and the system with the longest tradition in application in our area and beyond, especially in residential construction. In the previous sophisticated research endeavors of the same author, among other things, there was talk about seven sets of influencing factors on the sub-system function of the goal of the „heating element“, and in another paper there was talk about the „air temperature“ in a residential space heated by a „heating element“, as criterion parameter for assessing the quality of the heating system. In the general structural arrangement of the accepted heating system at the subsystem level, the subsystem marked with the identifier „Subsystem № 4“, recognizable as the „subsystem for transfer of heat to the heated space with the accompanying armature“ (shorter and subsystem „heating element“), and within which „Group № 4 – 1“ is recognized by derivation, which includes all represented heating elements, as unit components, classified by types; by general measurements; mass; dimensions of threaded connection pipe connections; the size of the heating surface; and nominal thermal power, for a certain temperature level of the heat carrier, in the design mode. The specific subject research was approached analytically and principled, imperatively and consecutively, with the application of the method of analysis, based on the „logic of rational action“, in the indicated area and with unchanged universal articulately defined access aspects, adapted to the subject research, and formed on the basis of decisive facts, knowledge, experience, skill, logic, etymology and/or valid thermotechnical axioms, and carried out for deontological reasons, in order to improve theory and practice in the indicated field. Practically, a holistic identification of the „suitability of the disposition of a heating element of a certain type“ was carried out, as a unit component of an adequate „group“, in a heated residential space, by a central water heating system, and recognized as a criterion parameter for the etiological assessment of reaching a certain level of „singular function of the goal of the heating element“, as a unit component, of an accepted group, an accepted subsystem, and in these terms, research knowledge and findings were presented explicatively and argumentatively. The disposition of the heating element is conditioned by its type and in this sense, there are explicit and non-alternative „axiom“ restrictions (eg, the radiator cannot be foreseen in the design or/and installed in the execution, on the surface of the „floor or/and ceiling“ of the heated residential space). After the subject research was carried out, the need to establish one more and eighth set of influencing factors on the subsystem function of the goal, „subsystem for heat transfer to the heated space with accompanying armature“ was imperatively imposed, and on this occasion, the same was marked with the identifier „set of design-execution-supervision factors“ (eg. errors in design, execution and/or supervision activities). The disposition of the heating element of a certain type is of a causal nature and is of importance for the subsystem function of the goal of the specified subsystem, and furthermore it is of importance for the quality of the realized integral thermotechnical system of central water heating as a whole and it is of importance in the final, for the integral construction object in question, in the intended terms and on its „efficiency“ in the part of energetically active contents, during its intended use in the working life. Professional thermotechnicians, and especially those active in the field of „applied thermotechnics in building construction“, must in their creative practice in various roles, perform among other things, imperatively eclectic, i.e. so that they always choose „the best of the possible“.
