ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN PRODUKTIVITAS METODE PEKERJAAN GALIAN BATU MENGGUNAKAN ROCK DRILL BREAKER DAN BLASTING

The advancement of technology in construction work has introduced various more efficient methods, including in rock excavation activities. This study aims to compare the productivity of two rock excavation methods: rock drill breaker and blasting. A descriptive quantitative approach was applied by collecting primary data from projects using the rock drill breaker method and data on the blasting method obtained from other relevant reference locations. The analysis focused on four key aspects, efficiency, time, operational costs, and productivity. The results revealed significant differences between the two methods. The blasting method produces a higher excavation volume per day but requires higher operational costs compared to the rock drill breaker. In terms of time, the blasting method demonstrates superior speed in task completion. These findings provide valuable guidance for practitioners and decision-makers in selecting the most appropriate work method for rock excavation projects. Furthermore, the study's results are expected to serve as a reference for developing more efficient and cost-effective work methods in the future.
