High‐Performance Quasi‐Solid‐State Thermogalvanic Cells with Metallized Fibril‐Based Textile Electrodes and Structure‐Breaking Salts (Adv. Energy Mater. 7/2025)

Thermogalvanic Cells In article number 2304151, Jinhan Cho, Jaeyoung Jang, and co-workers present high-performance quasi-solid-state thermogalvanic cells (QTCs) with Ni fibril-based textile electrodes and structure-breaking salts in hydrogel electrolytes. This study offers a basis for overcoming the performance limitations of QTCs and thus achieving all-flexible and wearable thermogalvanic cells that can power electronic devices using body heat.

Abstract

Thermogalvanic Cells In article number 2304151, Jinhan Cho, Jaeyoung Jang, and co-workers present high-performance quasi-solid-state thermogalvanic cells (QTCs) with Ni fibril-based textile electrodes and structure-breaking salts in hydrogel electrolytes. This study offers a basis for overcoming the performance limitations of QTCs and thus achieving all-flexible and wearable thermogalvanic cells that can power electronic devices using body heat.
