Integration of NodeMCU and PZEM Sensors in IoT-based Smart Lighting Design for Energy Conservation
Abstract The research focuses on the design and implementation of smart lighting systems based on the Internet of Things (IoT) in an effort to improve energy efficiency and user comfort in a variety of environments. The system integrates the NodeMCU ESP8266 as a microcontroller, the PZEM-004T sensor for measuring energy consumption, and the Blynk IoT platform for remote monitoring and control via mobile applications. The PZEM-004T sensor plays an important role in measuring electrical parameters such as current, voltage, and power in real-time, thus providing accurate information about light energy use. The test results showed an average energy consumption of 8,925 watts. This smart lighting system have proven to be effective in improving energy efficiency, contributing to reducing electricity costs, and boosting energy conservation efforts in various environments.
