Validation of Photovoltaic Mathematical Model Integrated with Grid-Connected Microinverter through online Mechanism

Abstract Photovoltaic as green energy source has widely implemented in the world to push down the use of fossil fuel. To realize the photovoltaic into simulation, a proper model of photovoltaic should be validated with a real device. This paper provides a validation of photovoltaic model through online mechanism, meaning that the photovoltaic is connected to a national grid with an intermediary a grid-connected microinverter. The validation including real experiment and simulation was applied for ten days measurement with same solar irradiance and temperature profiles. The result showed that average error between model and real system for the electricity generation was on the average of 1.7%.

Abstract

Abstract Photovoltaic as green energy source has widely implemented in the world to push down the use of fossil fuel. To realize the photovoltaic into simulation, a proper model of photovoltaic should be validated with a real device. This paper provides a validation of photovoltaic model through online mechanism, meaning that the photovoltaic is connected to a national grid with an intermediary a grid-connected microinverter.
