Analysis and Validation of High-Frequency Carrier Injection Control System for Synchronous Reluctance Motor
In order to improve the traditional position sensor control system in special application scenarios, such as the lack of reliability and high cost of use, this paper designs a position sensor-less control system on the basis of pulsed high-frequency harmonic injection algorithm for synchronous reluctance motors. In this paper, the basic theory of the pulsed high-frequency injection method is firstly presented, and the type of low-pass filter of the angle tracking observer is selected according to the characteristics of the influence of the injection frequency on the position demodulation process, and the cutoff frequency is optimally configured. This paper analyzes the influence of the system phase delay, caused by factors such as the inherent delay of the filter, on the rotor position identification process, and determines the appropriate amplitude of the injected signals by comparing the rotor position observations with different injected amplitudes. Finally, the pulsed high-frequency harmonic injection method designed in this paper for application to synchronous reluctance motors is verified by system simulation to have stability in error identification and timeliness in speed recovery after perturbation under load step conditions.
