Study on the Cogging Torque of New External Rotor Permanent Magnet Vernier Motor
The external rotor permanent magnet vernier motor has the advantages of low speed and high torque, and has a good application prospect in the field of low-speed direct drive such as wind power generation. In order to make the cogging torque of the permanent magnet vernier motor lower and the torque ripple smaller, it has more advantages in the field of low-speed direct drive such as wind power generation, in this paper, a new type of external rotor permanent magnet vernier motor is obtained by combining the unequal thickness of the magnetic pole structure with the external rotor permanent magnet vernier motor. Simulation shows that this motor structure can effectively reduce cogging torque and torque ripple. The new type of external rotor permanent magnet vernier motor is optimized with multiple objectives, and the optimized motor has good torque characteristics, which can be better applied to the field of low-speed direct.
