Research for Civil Aircraft Operational Safety Scenario Design and Risk Assessment Methodology
Safety assessment of civil aircraft is crucial to the entire development and airworthiness certification process. As aircraft systems become increasingly integrated, complex, and automated, pilots are often underprepared for emergency situations during operation, which can lead to operational errors and unintended consequences. Therefore, a comprehensive safety analysis of delivered aircraft must account for various operational scenarios. In this paper, we construct a multi-dimensional matrix of aircraft operational safety scenarios, allowing for the organic overlay of these scenarios. The overlaid operational scenarios are then used to conduct risk assessments, thereby identifying high-risk scenarios and providing strategies for the formulation of risk mitigation measures.
