Study on Environmental Stress Screening of Nuclear Power Plant Safety DCS Modules
Environmental stress screening (ESS) of electronic components is a critical safeguard for ensuring reliability in electronic products before installation, which can be regarded as an extension of electronic product quality testing and failure prevention. This study focuses on the ESS challenges faced by nuclear power plant safety digital control system (DCS). On the basis of the actual working environment of nuclear power plant safety DCS modules and a comparison of existing standards and norms in the industry, this paper proposes some ESS schemes for nuclear power plant safety DCS. To provide a reference basis for selecting an appropriate ESS protocol for safety DCS modules in nuclear power plant, a comprehensive analysis of multiple schemes is conducted, considering factors such as screening strength, temperature holding time, and others, in the meantime, ensuring that new faults are not introduced.
