Mixed-Integer Programming Based Optimal Allocation Method for Energy Storage Form and Capacity
In order to alleviate the load imbalance and frequency shift in the grid caused by the fluctuation of new energy generation, energy storage systems are usually allocated in new energy power stations. However, the energy storage form effected by the impact of evaluation factors such as safety and environmental protection are not quantitatively considered in the existing storage capacity allocation methods. This paper presents a mixed-integer programming-based method for the optimal allocation of energy storage form and capacity. Firstly, allocation for energy storage form and capacity is transformed into mixedinteger programming problem. Secondly, the objective function considering indices of safety and environmental protection is constructed considering energy storage form and capacity. And discrete constraints for energy storage form are presented. Finally, energy storage form and energy storage capacity are allocated by optimization algorithm. Case and analysis show the effectiveness of proposed method.
