Power Flow Calculation and Simulation of Distribution Networks with Large-Scale Distributed Generations

This paper explores whether the semi-invariant and + Gram series expansion methods can be applied to power flow calculations after the integration of large-scale distributed generations into distribution networks. Under the same conditions, the results of the semi-invariant method are compared with those of the Monte Carlo method. The results indicate that considering both computation time and accuracy, the optimal order for the Semi-invariant method is generally retained at the eighth order. Additionally, the increase in wind turbines and photovoltaic modules is roughly proportional to the calculation error of the eighth-order semi-invariant plus Gram series expansion method. To a certain extent, using the eighth-order semi-invariant + Gram series expansion method can satisfy power flow calculations for large-scale wind and solar power plants connected to distribution networks.
