Study on Dynamic Damping and Adaptive Control Strategy of Energy Storage Converter Based on VSG Control
As a bridge between renewable energy and power grid, the grid-connected inverter has an irreplaceable role in power conversion. For the grid-connected control strategy of the energy storage converter, the following research work is carried out in this paper: the transient damping strategy is introduced on the basis of the traditional VSG control strategy, which eliminates the steady-state error between the power command and the actual power while retaining the original constant damping to suppress the oscillation function. Then, a cooperative adaptive control strategy of rotational inertia and damping coefficient is proposed by combining the synchronous generator angular frequency oscillation characteristics and power angle characteristics. Simulation results show that the proposed adaptive control method can shortenthe oscillation time and reduce the overshoot amplitude, thus enhancing the stability and reliability of the system.
