Modeling and Simulation of a New Type of Anti-Falling Interception Net for Transmission Towers
With the development of the power industry, more and more transmission towers are being built, which brings great risks to the work of transmission operation and maintenance personnel on the tower. To better protect the personal safety of transmission tower workers and fill the existing protection blind spots, this study proposes a protective structure composed of interception poles and a net. The finite element analysis software Abaqus is used to simulate and analyze the dynamic process of the interception net system intercepting falling personnel. The stress, deformation, and energy conversion during the interception process of the interception net are obtained, and the stress characteristics of each stage of the net are analyzed. The results indicate that the interception net structure meets the design requirements and can successfully intercept falling personnel. The research work can provide certain references for the optimization design, installation, and deployment of the interception net system.
