Early Warning Method for Overheight and Overlimit of Ships in Inland Waterway Transmission Line Based on Maritime Geographic Information System Technology

The conventional warning method for over height and over limit of ships in inland waterways mainly uses the Risk-free rate\risk premium (RFRM) finite cloud model to obtain the coupling characteristics of over limit, which is vulnerable to the influence of fuzzy boundary distribution, resulting in poor warning effect. Therefore, a method for overheight and overlimit and over limit warning of ships in inland waterways based on maritime Geographic Information System (GIS) technology is proposed. By utilizing the principle of echo reflection in maritime GIS technology, the impact of geographic information errors on coordinate information reception is eliminated, and yaw data for processing ship trajectories is obtained to extract yaw information features. Using GIS to monitor the height of ships entering the inland waterway in real time, and comparing it with the bridge height limit of the inland waterway, evaluate the potential risk of exceeding the height limit, calculate the warning period at this time, and achieve the warning of ships exceeding the height limit of the inland waterway. The experimental results show that the designed maritime GIS overheight and overlimit and over limit early warning method for inland waterway ships has good early warning effect, reliability and certain application value, and has made certain contributions to reducing the frequency of ship accidents and ensuring the safety of water traffic navigation.
