Research on the Semi Physical Simulation Test of Fault Injection and Validation for Traction Motor in Railway Transit
To verify the prognostics health management (PHM) technology of traction motor, the construction of a traction system fault injection and validation platform is essential. The semi physical simulation platform combines the advantages of both physical and virtual simulation platforms, overcoming their respective shortcomings, and has become an incubator and accelerator for promoting the practical application of the PHM technology. On this basis, the paper proposes a semi physical simulation test method of fault injection and validation for traction motor, focusing on the mathematical modeling of the motor on health and fault condition, and the construction of the semi physical simulation test platforms. Firstly, motor models on health and fault condition are analyzed, where two faults of stator interturn short fault and rotor broken bar fault are involved; then it defines the input and output ports to realize the segmentation and connection of the physical and simulation, in which the motor power system is downloaded and runs in the simulator whereas motor control algorithm performs in the physical circuit board; finally, the results of the physical and semi physical simulation test for both health and fault are compared, and the sample data under the stator and rotor fault in the semi physical simulation test is further analyzed to detect the fault.
