Laser cladding path planning algorithm based on surface point cloud data
In order to improve the quality and efficiency of laser cladding, an optimized path planning method is proposed for curved parts. A 3D laser scanner is used to obtain the 3D point cloud data of the curved part, and a hybrid filtering strategy is used to pre-process the point cloud data. On this basis, NURBS surface fitting is performed. An improved tangent plane method is proposed to determine the tangent plane distance by the multi-pass fusion overlap rate, from which the fusion trajectory point cloud set is obtained. An equal bow-height error discrimination optimization algorithm is proposed to determine the cladding processing points, which compensates for the system threshold error. The cladding workpiece with good surface quality was obtained through the cladding processing test, which verified the rationality of the optimized path planning method.
