Intelligent Modeling Technology of Wind Turbine Generator for Power System Simulation
As the share of wind turbines in power systems grows, the influence of wind turbine models on the accuracy of power system analysis has become more pronounced, highlighting their increasing importance. Measured modeling of wind turbines is a critical approach for developing high-precision wind turbine models. However, existing techniques face several challenges, including complex data processing, low efficiency and accuracy in parameter identification, and a substantial workload for parameter validation. This paper explores intelligent parameter identification techniques for wind turbines and introduces advanced software for single wind turbine modeling. The software provides comprehensive functionality, including data extraction, processing, parameter identification, and model validation. Applying the software to a doubly-fed wind turbine, an efficient construction of its electromechanical model was achieved. The results indicate that the developed model satisfies the accuracy requirements and is suitable for power system analysis and simulations.
