Research on Optimal Configuration Strategy of Regional Power Grid with Wind-Solar-Sodium Sulfur Battery Energy Storage
Addressing the escalating penetration of clean energy sources such as wind and solar power in regional power grids, this paper proposes a configuration model for a wind-solar hybrid power generation system based on sodium-sulfur (Nas) battery energy storage requirements. This model employs optimization techniques to minimize the operational costs of the peak-shaving system. By considering technical constraints of the system and those related to average peak-shaving capabilities, an optimal configuration model for N as batteries is developed, aiming to enhance the peak-shaving capacity of the power system. The CPLEX solver is invoked within the YALMIP toolbox to solve the model, thereby deriving the capacity and power requirements of N as batteries, which facilitate renewable energy dispatch and peak shaving.
