Current Stress Optimization Control Strategy of Dual Active Bridge DC-DC Converter
A triple phase shift control method was studied to address the issues of high current stress and small soft switching range in dual active bridge DC-DC converters with input and output voltage mismatch under dual phase shift control. First, the mathematical expressions of inductor current and output power under triple phase-shift control are constructed; Next, the optimal shift ratio over the full power range is derived based on the inductor current, shift ratio and other variables; And the optimization strategy was compared and analyzed with the current stress and soft switching range under dual phase shifting control; Finally, simulation models and experimental prototypes were built to verify the superiority and practicability of the proposed current stress optimization control strategy.
