Entropy Generation and Mass Transfer Analysis During a Radiative Magnetized Hybrid Ferro-Nanofluid Flow Along with Higher Order Chemical Reaction
This study investigates the dynamics of magnetized hybrid ferrofluid flow over a stretching/shrinking surface under the influence of suction/injection and an inclined magnetic field, incorporating binary chemical reaction, activation energy, and viscous effect. Numerical simulations of the transformed ordinary differential equations are obtained through the shooting method and bvp4c function. The thermal management of modern power electrical devices is crucial because of the dissipation of high heat flux. Ferrofluids or the magnetic nanofluids, containing solid magnetic nanoparticles, exhibit superior thermal conductivity and enable the external flow control via magnetic fields which is crucial for many electronics devices. The present analysis reveals a reduction in the entropy generation by increasing temperature difference parameter and an enhancement in the concentration profile due to the activation energy. Additionally, a comparative analysis of hybridized ferro-nanofluids has been conducted for skin friction, Sherwood number, Nusselt number, and entropy generation. These findings are of great use in efficient thermal control in electronic cooling systems and biomedical technologies, emphasizing the role of hybrid ferrofluids in optimizing heat transfer and improving the thermal management strategies. The computational methodology is validated by reproducing the results reported in the existing literature, demonstrating substantial agreement and confirming the reliability of the numerical solution of the proposed model.
