A CONSTRUÇÃO DAS REPRESENTAÇÕES SOCIAIS DOS TRABALHADORES DA SAÚDE, EM TEMPOS DE COVID-19
Social representations are found in groups and relationships and are configured as a particular type of knowledge. As a type of practical knowledge, they are created to guide behavior, to protect identities or to make something strange and unusual familiar. In this sense, this article will briefly present a critical view of the pandemic, workers' health and the construction of Social Representations during this period. To this end, a scoping review was carried out to understand this phenomenon during the pandemic. Scientific databases such as SciELO, the Virtual Health Library and the CAPES Periodicals Platform and official government websites were consulted. After reading the titles and abstracts, 05 articles made up the scope of this review. The COVID-19 pandemic has brought significant changes to the daily lives of the population and, in particular, health workers who have had to adapt to the new safety and care measures in their workplaces. This time was permeated by different difficulties, such as the reduced number of beds and equipment to cope with the high demand, doubts about the most appropriate and effective treatments and the high number of deaths. These factors have contributed to the crystallization and spread of representations, especially among health workers, who have to deal with the harmful effects of the pandemic and the inadequacy of their work environment on a daily basis. We must also consider the intense emotional burden imposed on these professionals, who have had to digest wear and tear, fear and insecurity on a daily basis.
