VIOLÊNCIA SEXUAL CONTRA CRIANÇAS E ADOLESCENTES COM DEFICIÊNCIA: Uma revisão integrativa da literatura
Sexual violence against children and adolescents with disabilities is a current criminal act. This study aims to characterize and describe research that investigated sexual violence against children and adolescents with disabilities from 2010 to 2022. For this, an integrative literature review was carried out, of a qualitative and quantitative nature, based on the analysis of data collected from studies related to the theme, in databases and portals. After the refinement process, 11 studies were obtained that discussed the issue of sexual violence against children and adolescents with disabilities. Of these, most studies presented teenagers of both sexes as potential victims, and people with intellectual/mental disabilities as the most aggravated by sexual violence. The review also pointed out that sexual violence against this population is mostly characterized by forced sexual abuse with penetration. The association of this population with vulnerability due to disability confirms the need for public policies that protect people with disabilities who are in the period of childhood and adolescence.
