Existence of nodal solutions for weighted elliptic problem involving exponential growth

In this note, we establish the existence of nodal solutions for a logarithmic weighted elliptic problem in the unit ball B of R^N , N ≥ 3. The non-linearity is assumed to have exponential growth in view of Trudinger-Moser type inequalities. Our method is based on the constrained minimization in Nehari manifold coupled with the quantitative deformation lemma and degree theory

Abstract

In this note, we establish the existence of nodal solutions for a logarithmic weighted elliptic problem in the unit ball B of R^N , N ≥ 3. The non-linearity is assumed to have exponential growth in view of Trudinger-Moser type inequalities. Our method is based on the constrained minimization in Nehari manifold coupled with the quantitative deformation lemma and degree theory
