Oral Verruciform Xanthoma: Letter to Editor

ABSTRACT Verruciform xanthoma (VX) of the oral cavity is a rare, reactive benign mucosal lesion of unknown aetiology. This letter aims to report a case and remind clinicians on the varied hyperplastic clinical presentation, which can often be mistaken for potentially malignant lesions such as verrucous or squamous cell carcinomas macroscopically unless definitively diagnosed histologically.
