Optimizing Wireless Coverage: The Impact of Signal Enhancers on Current and Future Wireless Communication Systems
The rapid growth of wireless communication requires solutions to address coverage gaps and improve network performance. Signal enhancement technologies like repeaters, Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS) are crucial for boosting coverage in current and future wireless communication networks. This paper briefly discusses recent advancements in these technologies and presents case studies demonstrating how LTE TDD repeater improve both indoor and outdoor coverage. Results show that indoor downlink and uplink throughput increased to over 35 Mbps and 10Mbps, while outdoor downlink and uplink performance reached 30 Mbps and 3 Mbps, respectively. These results prove the repeater’s effectiveness in enhancing signal coverage and network performance.
