Identification of Mathematical Model Parameters of Control Object by S-Shaped Acceleration Curve

The identification of mathematical models of control objects and the calculation of their parameters according to the s-shaped acceleration curve, which is an integral part of the automatic control systems tunning, were considered. Most of the publications consider complex and cumbersome methods of parameter identification that are difficult to apply in practice. The peculiarities of control objects with a delay and mathematical models approximating such objects were considered. Such models are inertial links of the first and second orders with a delay. Using a specific example, four graphical-analytical methods for identifying parameters were analyzed and recommendations for their use were given. Attention was also focused on the possibilities and advantages of using the modern powerful MatLab software, which allows identifying the parameters of an object approximated by an inertial link of any order, which gives a fairly accurate result.
