Research on optimal operation of integrated energy system with high-penetration renewable energy
The integrated energy system (IES) is more efficient than the single separate energy system, which is of great significance for the efficient utilization of renewable energy and the reduction of air pollutant emissions. In the context of energy security, environmental security and climatic conditions, the problem of pollutant emissions from IES is becoming more and more prominent. Access to high proportion of renewable power, increase the use of renewable energy to reduce pollutant emissions important measures. Therefore, this study proposes an economic optimization scheduling model under high-penetration renewable power that combines heat and power generation (CHP) with carbon capture (CCS), power-to-gas (P2G), and energy storage. The model is then solved using the IPOPT. The findings demonstrate that pollutant emissions and system running costs may be greatly decreased if a share of renewable energy is added to the energy system. This research offers a fresh concept for raising installed renewable energy capacity and cutting emissions of pollutants.
