CHARACTERISTICS OF SERVICE FACILITIES ACCORDING TO THE CLASSIFICATION OF TRANSPORT AND TRANSFER HUBS

The article defines the classification features of service facilities that are part of the space of the transport hub, underground spaces with a specific functional and planning organization depending on the importance and size of the node, its location in the planning structure of the city. In large cities with a developed transport infrastructure, the main combination of interacting types of transport is an important classification feature: railway, including regional and suburban lines – urban rail transport; railway – land urban transport; metro – underground city transport, etc. The volumes of their functional load and service objects depend on the location of the node in the city plan. The classification according to the following characteristics: according to scale – a transport node, centre or point, according to functional characteristics depending on external and internal passenger flows, according to the volume of passenger flows – large, medium, small, according to the degree of modality, ultra-complex, complex, medium complexity, simple. Various planning schemes of public spaces are considered. The nomenclature of functions required for technical maintenance of transport interchanges in accordance provided with the development of new types of transport. The role and importance of transport and transfer complexes in the development of the country's transport system is to provide its population with proper transport and related services within cities, in suburban areas and over long distances.
