A new through traction power supply system considering power quality improvement and multi-energy access
Abstract The key to solving the power quality problem of the traditional traction power supply system was the through-connected traction power supply system. This study analyses the impact of the traditional through-connected traction power supply system on power quality and constructs a new through-connected traction power supply system that considers the improvement of power quality and multi-energy access. This is achieved by combining the multi-energy access scheme. A comparative analysis is conducted between the new system and the traditional through-connected traction power supply system in terms of four aspects: power quality, multi-energy access, economy and low-carbon, and stability and flexibility of the system. The results show that the advanced traction power supply device considering power quality improvement and multi-energy access has positive effects in facilitating new energy consumption, effective harmonic suppression, and cost optimization.
