Design of a Novel Frog-Inspired Jumping Robot
The frog-inspired jumping robot, as a novel ground mobile robot, is widely studied and used for exploration and rescue missions in complex terrains due to its outstanding jumping performance and flexible mobility. This paper explores the structural design of the frog-inspired jumping robot. By mimicking the jumping mechanism of real frogs, high-efficiency jumping motion is achieved, and the jumping performance of the bionic frog is analyzed through robotic kinematics calculations. Additionally, a micro controller control design scheme for the bionic frog is devised, which serves as the “brain” of the robot, responsible for coordinating and controlling the movements of various components.
