Research on a New Subsea Drilling Robot

In order to meet the needs of regular replacement and long-term underwater burial of deep-sea aquaculture nets, a subsea drilling robot is proposed in the paper, which has the functions of digging, anchoring and detachment at the same time. Firstly, the structure of each unit of the drilling robot is designed, the motion process of the drilling robot is analyzed by mathematical model, and the kinematics simulation of the virtual prototype of the drilling robot is carried out, and then the drilling ability of the drilling robot is verified in the mud and sand environment, and the displacement, velocity and acceleration curves obtained from the experimental collation are compared with the previous simulation results, which further proves that the drilling robot meets the requirements for use.
