Initial Dynamic Characteristics of the Processes Under Magnetic-Pulsed Transportation of the Conductor in the Guiding Structure
The proposed work was initiated by the needs of modern industry in new efficient technologies based on the use of the energy of electromagnetic fields. The purpose of the work is to determine the characteristics of the initial dynamics of the directed movement of a conducting object under the action of the forces of a high-frequency magnetic field generated by an inductor in the cavity of a structure concentrating the excited pressure in a fixed direction, and to numerically estimate the initial velocities of the object of force action in the absence and presence of resistance forces of various physical nature. The dynamics of the movement of a conductor under a force magnetic-impulse effect in the presence and absence of resistance forces from the external environment is theoretically investigated as novelty. Main results. It is shown that, for any resistance, the characteristic time of velocity rise in the field of magnetic pressure forces does not exceed ~60 µs, A significant and decisive influence of aerodynamic drag forces on the velocity characteristics of the movement of an object of force action is shown. So, already at ~100 µs, the speed drops by more than two times. Practical significance. Calculations illustrating dynamic processes under magnetic-pulse force action on conductive objects in the experimental equipment of the Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University have been performed. Estimates of the dynamics under the maximum possible action of resistance forces make it possible to give recommendations on the formation of optimal high-speed modes of motion of conducting objects under the force action of pulsed magnetic fields.
